Parliamentary majority will present Nino Lomjaria"s candidacy for Ombudsman`s
post today,
Nino Lomjaria`s candidacy for the post of the Public Defender will be officially nominated by the parliamentary majority today. The candidates of the ruling team will be presented on behalf of the factions included in the majority on the Bureau session. Lomjaria is among our candidates nominated by NGOs to the Parliament for the position of the Public Defender.

Presentation of the legislative package related to the structural reorganization of the government will also be held at today`s bureau session. Planned amendments are already underway in the Parliament and the government demands them to be discussed in an accelerated manner.

"If there are no different government institutions under these agencies and there is no real reduction, it turns out that this is a mechanical merger," - said Roman Gotsiridze, the chairman of the National Movement faction.

According to Zurab Chiaberashvili, member of the parliamentary faction "European Georgia - Regions", if it comes with a very clear plan to reduce costs, it is impossible to have a positive effect.
