Two-day Silk Road Economic Forum will be opened today in Tbilisi. The opening ceremony will be held at the Opera and Ballet Theater. The Head of the Government of Georgia will address the audience.
A total of more than 1 000 representatives of about 50 countries will be involved in the forum. Among them are the Prime Ministers of the two countries, vice PMs and high officials. Several agreements between countries will be signed.
Main issues are trade, transport and energy issues.
