Discussion on the structural changes initiated by the government will begin in a few minutes at a joint committee meeting. According to the amendments, the number of ministries will be reduced from 18 to 14. The parliamentary majority does not rule out that certain corrections will be included in the bill.

Irakli Kobakhidze, the Chairman of Parliament, confirms that there were different options in regard to the unification of the Ministries of environment and agriculture.

"There were different views in regard to the unification of the Ministry of Environmental Protection in the team. The draft law is initiated and the discussion will start, "- said Irakli Kobakhidze.
