Georgia"s Ruling Team Responds to Mikheil Saakashvili Statement

Members of the parliamentary majority comment on Mikheil Saakashvili"s statement according to which Poroshenko has decided to detain him. According to Georgian MPs, detainment of the former President should not become the subject of political speculation.

"Saakashvili wants to shift everything in the political context," said Giorgi Volsky.

The ruling team says that not politicians are interested in Saakashvili"s arrest, but the Ministry of Justice and the Court.

"The law will be the same to Saakashvili, as to other individuals, " - Eka Beselia said.
