According to the Constitutional Court decision, the use of cannabis is not a criminal offence. The Panel of Judges of the Constitutional Court complied the freedom of cannabis use with Article 16 of the Constitution and noted that smoking is the right a person.

According to the political movement "Girchy", the court has made it possible to change the state attitude to other drugs.

Despite the noisy decision of the Constitutional Court, the Cannabis consumers do not lhave any legitimate way to grow cannabis or buy it legally in the country.

With the decision on the use of cannabis, all the criminal cases will be reviewed, where individuals are serving their sentences or have legal restrictions because of cannabis.
