Georgian National Movement will protest against Mikheil Saakashvili"s political persecution by the Georgian authorities today. The action will be held at Tbilisi City Court today. where the hearing of the case on pardoning will be resumed.

The investigation has claims regarding the release of convicts on the Girgvliani case. The party believes that it is planned to issue a convicting verdict until the new year.

"Political persecution of Mikheil Saakashvili, which is being implemented in Georgia as well as in Ukraine, is a step taken against democratic processes, which is incompatible with the legal process," Kote Ioseliani said.
