State Security Service Representative Ioseb Gogashvili and Kakheti Governor Irakli Kadagishvili met with members of the Council of Elders of Pankisi Gorge.

The meeting was held at the Interior Ministry"s office of Kakheti.

According to the elders, they were shown part of the video about young people detained during the special operation in Pankisi and informed about their connection with Chataev.

Irakli Kadagishvili, State Representative of Kakheti, notes that the questions at the meeting were answered based on the interests of the investigation.

Irakli Kadagishvili also notes that Machilakashvili"s liquidation was not in the interest of the Special Forces.

The representative of the State Security asked the elders to refrain from sharing information to avoid confrontation.

Elders are demanding timely and objective investigation of the case.
