Local government officials and Akhmeta majoritarian MP met with residents of Pankisi. The main issue discussed was an anti-terrorist special operation in Pankisi.

The meeting was attended by the Mayor of Akhmeta and the Chairman of Sakrebulo. It was said that the special operation was the prevention of a particular crime and it was not accossiated with the Kisti people.

The meeting focused on the projects plannedin Pankisi and the local budget priorities.

A similar type of meeting is planned with representatives of the young generation living in the Pankisi Gorge.
