The situation in Eastern Ukraine has once again worsened before the quadripartite summit scheduled in Minsk. The attacks were carried out in several places at the same time by the pro-Russian seperatists.

The situation is particularly grave in Debaltsevo and Krematorsk, where seven civilians and four serviceman were killed as a result of rocket attacks. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko arrived in Krematorsk at night and visited the areas bombed and a hospital holding those wounded by the shellings.
