Ukraine"s President responds to Rustavi2 - Petro Poroshenko"s administration has released a special statement regarding the news aired on Saturday"s Courier.
The administration argues that the published documents are fraudulent and low-level falsifications prepared by the Russian Special Forces.
According to the press service, Petre Poroshenko"s son got married in Kiev in September 2013. The document, which dates back to 2007, referred to relatives of Poroshenko"s daughter -in-law in Petersburg.
"We call on media outlets not to distribute fake information that is clearly ordered by the aggressor country, and we expect a public apology from those media outlets which have published an unverified unverified information," - say the statement posted on the official website of Petro Poroshenko.
The story about President Poroshenko"s letter was aired yesterday in Saturday"s Courier. The confidential source handed over to the Courier a letter dated by 3 February 2007 the addressee of which is the Russian Security Service.
In the letter, the president of Ukraine distances himself from anti-Russian campaign and pledges not to take part in anti-Russian actions
