The President has the last day to make a decision regarding the Law on Broadcasting. Non-governmental sector and opposition have urged Giorgi Margvelashvili not to sign the impugned law, veto it and return with the motivated remarks to the Parliament.

According to Sopho Kiladze, arguments of those, who support veto are weak. Kiladze points out that there are people in the ruling team who do not support changes in the law on broadcasters.

"I think that the those, who support the law on the broadcaster have more serious arguments," Sopho Kiladze said.

"My subjective and personal opinion is that the president will probably veto it " - evaluates the chairperson of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee.
The Representative of the parliamentary majority does not see any gaps in the amendment to the law.
