Court to announce the decision on granting refugee status to Mustafa Emre Chabuk

The Court of Appeals passes a decision on granting refugee status to Mustafa Emre Chabuk. The trial proceeds behind the closed doors.

The lawyers presented the Human Rights Watch report to the panel of judges today.

Vakhtang Kvizhinadze, the lawyer hopes that Mustafa Emre Chabuk and his family members will have a refugee status.

Levan Bardavelidze, the head of the Court representation service of the Ministry of Refugees states that Chabuk will not be a victim of inhuman treatment in Turkey.

In case of refusal to grant them refugee status, attorneys do not rule out to apply to the Strasbourg Court.
