The occupied Tskhinvali region banned importing meat products and dairy products from the territories controlled by the Georgian authorities have been and imposed restrictions on agricultural products .

The occupation regime has implemented new regulations and opened so called Customs Point in Akhalgori district.

The cargo that the population took through the border, now with Russian FSB representatives is checked by the so-called Customs officers and Phytosanitary Service representatives.

With the new regulation, the population may carry only 50 kg of cargo through the border, and the customs duty will be paid for commercial purpose goods.
