The United States is skeptical about Russia fulfilling its obligations stated in the Minsk Agreement.

The State Department has stated that it is prepared to take the necessary additional sanctions if Russia doesn"t fulfill its obligations.

US State Department Spokesperson Jen Psaki said that the agreements reached in Minsk was appreciated by the White House.
Psaki stated that the agreement is written on paper and it would be nothing however if not executed. She also noted that Russia and pro-Russian separatists had not fulfilled any of the previously agreed provisions.

"We had a long talk with European partners on the steps that can be taken in the future and we are still leaving in force all the resources that we can use."
