Intensive battles continue in the East of Ukraine. two days before the cease fire agreement reached in Minsk will become effective.

As a result of artillery fire from separatists, three people have died in Lugansk. On February 11, just hours before Russian President Vladimir Putin proclaimed a ceasefire in Belarus, fighters from the Donetsk People`s Republic fired on a bus stop in Donetsk and the Donetsk metallurgical plant. As a result of the attacks, six people were killed and eight more injured.

During the Minsk negotiations, the separatists attacked Ukrainian army positions almost 70 times.
According to the agreement the ceasefire will enter into force on February 15.
