UN Security Council expresses full support to the Minsk Agreement

The UN Security Council called on all parties in eastern Ukraine to stop fighting and implement a European-brokered peace deal as an almost three-day-old ceasefire rapidly began to unravel. This is stated in the resolution adopted by the Security Council.
The Security Council members expressed concern over the situation in the east of Ukraine and reaffirmed the support to Ukraine"s territorial integrity. The meeting was convened at the request of the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko.
"Members of the Security Council are concerned about the situation in Debaltsevo. The violence must end," said the president of the UN Security Council, Liu Zhiuei.
