A Head of the National Agency of Public Registry resigns due to the information about the sexual harassment scandal.

Papuna Ugrekhelidze has released a statement on Facebook. As he writes in the social network, the attacks against him continue.

"Unfortunately, the attack and revenge attempts of ex-employee of the former head of the International Relations Department- Eka Meskhidze continues. Now whole this situation has a sharp political tone. She accuses me that in 2013-2016, in the period of our cooperation and close friendship she became a victim of a sexual harassment. I declare that this allegation is a revenge because I dismissed her husband- Zurab Kipiani ( Whose brother in law is Levan Bezhashvili, UNM member) from the position of Geoinformation Systems Administrator due to a disciplinary penalty in 2016 On August 22, "- writes Ugrekhelidze.
According to him, Eka Meskhidze actually wanted to leave the Public Registry not because of the harassment, but for a better salary.

Papuna Ugrekhelidze is going to appeal to the court.
