Law enforcers arrested one person on charges of extortion. The committed crime envisages up to 4 years of imprisonment. The accused was taken to Tbilisi.

The investigation found that one of the detainees was systematically extorting money through threats and coercion from one of the citizens.

Investigation is ongoing on the fact of extortion, under Article 181, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
