In the last year, 11 miners died in the shaft, and from 2010 till now, 25 people have died in mines.

The last case occurred in Tkibuli on April 5. The explosion took place on the shaft at 6 o"clock. Among the killed was Giorgi Bochorishvili, who turned 28 of March 24. He worked for 10 years in the shaft and was the only breadwinner of the family. His father also worked in the shaft and after his health deteriorated, instead of his father Giorgi went to the mine. Giorgi had three miner children. Among the deceased are:

Gogi Rafava, 60 years old - worked at Mindeli"s shuttle since 2006.

Elguja Bochorishvili, 53, had two children and was waiting for the birth of his grandson.

Mirza Kurtsikidze, 46 years old - had three children; The older child, 21 years old, works in the shaft, the second child - 12 years old, the third is 1 year old.

Besik Gurgenidze, 50 years old, worked at Mindeli"s shaft for years.

Pavle Gamzardashvili, 25 years old, started work at the shaft when his father got leg injury.
