David Kipiani was wounded on  February 20 on  barricades of Maidan. He died in the ambulance.

Another citizen, whose picture is among the pictures of the heroes of the Maidan was a 50-year-old Zurab Khurtsia, an IDP from Abkhazia. He spent 3 months with Maidan activists.

 Another killed in Ukraine was Alexander Grigolashvili who fought on the front lines.

Tamaz Sukhiashvili was killed in recent clashes in eastern Ukraine.
