"The Public Defender will submit her opinion to the Strasbourg Court in regard to media environment, which exists in Georgia and in regard to correctness of the temporary measures in prescribed timeframe ," the Ombudsman said in his interview with Rustavi 2.

Nino Lomjaria responded to the appeal of the Government of Georgia where the government asks the European Court to cancel the temporary measures against the broadcasting company and hand over Rustavi 2 to Kibar Khalvashi.

The Ombudsman has refrained from public statements, as the Public Defender is entitled to be a friend of the Rustavi 2 court in hearing in the European Court.
