The Ministry of Internal Affairs has summed up the work carried out in the direction of domestic violence and women, together with foreign experts and non-governmental organizations. The Department of Reconciliation has presented report  on the results of gender-based violence, current challenges and legislative basis.

"From May, a risk assessment system and monitoring mechanism will be introduced, which will be an important tool in the hands of investigators for domestic violence and violence against women," said Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Natia Mezvrishvili.
