The village of Sakobo, Sighnaghi municipality is demanding release of the detained Dimitri Chrelashvili. The locals held a protest rally and said that the young man was illegally detained.

According to them, law enforcers accused Chrelashvili of the crime that he did not commit.

Chrilashvili himself, who is accused of ties with the criminal world, started a hunger strike.

According to the investigation, Chrelashvili and several other detainees were extorting money from specific persons at the orders from thieves in law.
