The Ministry of Internal Affairs will make explanations about special operation in Tbilisi clubs today.

According to the law enforcement agency, the Ministry has been conducting Intensive Operative-Investigative activity in Basian and Galeria clubs in Tbilisi for revealing facts of drug dealing.

On May 12, 2018 the relevant investigative actions were conducted on the basis of a court ruling in these clubs. 8 drug dealers have been arrested.

On the basis of a court verdict, 5 clubs will be sealed for one day, according to the ruling, the prosecution requested to seal the clubs. According to this request, law enforcers are entitled to conduct investigative activities on the ground, including the search.
