Russian Patriarchate sends its representative to Georgia


The Russian Patriarchate sends its representative to Georgia - a statement was posted on the official website of the Russian Patriarchate. According to the spread information, the decision of the Russian Orthodox Church was discussed with the Georgian Church two days ago. Vladimir Aleksandrov, the archpriest of Moscow, will serve a Russian-speaking parish in the temple of John the Theologian in Tbilisi and will be authorized to present the position of the Russian Orthodox Church in case of necessity.

The Patriarchate of Georgia explains that the arrival of the Russian clergy is carried out in accordance with agreement signed between the churches and deacon Kakhaber Gogotishvili has been serving for Georgian parish in Moscow for two months already.
