Part of the clergy and parishioners gathered at the Rose Square to participate in the march on the day of the purity of the family.

Politicians are on the Rose Square as well. Tamaz Mechiauri, the Mayor of Tianeti Municipality joined them as well.

Mechiauri responded to the disruption of the campaign supporting the LGBT community saying that the decision is right and it is not necessary for the representatives of sexual minorities to demonstrate their orientation on Rustaveli.

"Does anyone stop doing anything? they went. On the contrary, you have come here and people who do their job will be free to stay wherever they want, to be able to walk on Rustaveli and demonstrate their orientation. Be calm and quiet, "she says.
