The parliamentary majority is convinced that there is no problem regarding freedom of expression and gathering in Georgia . As Tamar Khulordava, the Chairman of the Committee on European Integration states if the LGBT community wanted to hold a rally, the relevant agency could ensure their security, but they did not want to do it themselves.
"The decision was made by this community itself to refrain from holding such a demonstration at this stage," Tamar Khulordava said.
Zakaria Kutsnashvili welcomed the decision of t "Georgian March" regarding the disruption of the demonstration and said that the reason is their civil responsibility.
