A middle- aged man was detained on the territory of Adjara on the charges of pedophilia .

According to the Interior Ministry, the investigation is under way under Articles 138 and 141 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

The offense committed by the offender envisages imprisonment from 6 to 9 years.
