Natural disaster in Tbilisi -toppled trees, flooded streets and cars. Due to heavy rains, population of one of the residential buildings needed evacuation. In Amashukeli 22 water damaged foundation of the building.

Heavy rainfall especially damaged Gldani-Nadzaladevi district. The village of Giorgitsminda has been cut off from the outside world due to the collapse of road connecting with Gldani.

In Varketili, rain toppled several trees, which led to the blocking of the road. The patrol police carried out evacuation of citizens from cars.

During the night, 153 calls were received by the rescue service.
Heavy rains have created problems at the crossroads of Tamarashvili and University Streets. Rescue teams tried to remove the cars off the University street.
The mayor of the capital was in the disaster zone.
