Zviad Koridze, the chairperson of the Pardons Commission, made a statement on the pardon of Giorgi Mamaladze. According to Koridze, father Giorgi Mamaladze was not in the list to discuss, and in case of his appeal, the commission will discuss his case as well.

"Giorgi Mamaladze was not in the list of convicts whose cases were discussed by the commission and the commission has not submitted any recommendation on him. You know that Giorgi Mamaladze"s trial was completed yesterday and he could not be considered by the commission," Zviad Koridze said.
