Chunk of glacier broke off and fell into the river in Lekhziri area, Svaneti region of Georgia. The locals say that the incident has resulted in a casualty, but the Emergency Service Agency does not confirm this information.

According to locals, the glacier collapsed near the place where Mestia Chalahesi is built and thinks that the reason was the construction of the HPP.
