Giorgi Margvelashvili has awarded doctors of the Gori Hospital for their professional activities during the war. The President of the country has thanked the doctors and noted that they are the last hope for the soldiers in need.

"Today I thank you, doctors, for the representatives of the most humane and human-oriented profession. In the battlefield you are the last hope of a soldier or a citizen, "Giorgi Margvelashvili said.

The Health Minister has thanked the doctors for their courage in the August war. According to David Sergeenko, the medical staff saved dozens of lives.
