Nino Burjanadze agrees with Salome Zurabichvili that the August war was a whim of Mikheil Saakashvili, but the leader of the Democratic Movement-United Georgia says that she does not comment on the statement of the independent candidate and this is her personal position.

"Why do I have to comment on someone"s comments? My position on the war is already well known. My position is that yes, it is Saakashvili"s fault. This war could be avoided if not a Saakashvili"s whim that Russians have many but rusted tanks, Russians will not dare to engage in war and that Americans will help us. If not this whim, there would not be a war,"- said Nino Burjanadze. She noted that people, who are responsible for this war, should be punished.

Shalva Natelashvili also speaks about Salome Zurabishvili"s statement and underlines that he has his position, but now there is no time for mutual accusations.
