The draft law on the school age initiated by the "National movement" will bediscussed today.

According to ammendments to the "Law on General Education", the school age would be 5 years.

Koba Subeliani,a "National Movement"MP,said that the restriction should be removed and the parents should decide when to bring the child to school.

Eliso Chapidze from the "Georgian Dream" claimed that a number of researches confirmed that the 5-year-old children are not ready for the learning process.

The bill was not supported at the committee hearing.
