Strong natural disasterhas significantly damaged Telavi and Akhmeta municipalities in the Kakheti region

Drainage channels did not pass rain water, which caused flooding of Telavi streets, of the first floors and yards of the residential houses.

The water reached 10 cm in the basement of the House of Justice, and the Emergency Management Service had to work in the emergency mode till late.

Bad weather damaged the power transmission line, leaving some of the subscribers without power supply for several hours.

Road infrastructure was also damaged. As a result of the strong windstorm, trees were toppled.

The disaster elimination works have been resumed in Telavi today.
