It becomes more difficult to obtain right to residence in Georgia for foreign citizens. Kakha Kaladze made a statement at the sitting of Tbilis government today. According to him, the amendments concern both individuals and investors.

"The change that we want to implement is that instead of 35 thousand USD , it will be required to own property, worth 100 thousand USD dollars to obtain a right to residence. If a person who has received a residence permits, will sell or transfer his property to someone else during a year, the right to residence will be deprived,"- Kakha Kaladze said.
