City Hall has released a statement regarding the attempt to summon Narmania to City Council.

"Opposition MPs week-long activity is incomprehesible and futile, since the law expressly provides for the commitment of the Mayor to report to the City Council," - read the statement.

It also stated that in compliance with the regulations, the Mayor is planning to address City Council in early April, when any MP will have the opportunity to ask questions. Narmania assessed Elisashvili`s initiative as meaningless and futile and said that he would not go to the City Council at the request of the opposition.
