At the sitting of the Parliamentary Bureau, "National Movement" will raise the issue of amendments to the law on legal status of foreigners and stateless persons.

The party thinks that the existing policy of immigration poses a threat to the social stability of the country.

According to Roman Gotsiridze, taking into consideration the existing threats, it is necessary to tighten the right to temporary and permanent residence in Georgia.

"The European experience is more and more relevant to the requirements of today"s Georgia. Even if we take the investment residence right now, it is very simplified and it does not serve the aim of attracting of investments to the country, "said Roman Gotsiridze.

"European Georgia" plans to raise the issue the status of parliamentary city for Kutaisi and issue of IDP rights.

At the Bureau session the MPs are discussing the agenda of the committee"s current weekly hearings.
