The protest rally will be resumed in Ponichala today - local population protests against construction of Tbilisi-Rustavi highway.

According to locals, the construction process poses a threat to the damaged houses.

Residents living near the main highway are demanding to be evacuated. Among the requirements is meeting with the Minister of Infrastructure.

Yesterday the gathering did not allow construction techniques to continue working, the police were mobilized on the ground.
