Business Racket and Criminal Governance in Georgia - 13 influential Georgian NGOs are beginning to inform Georgian friends and partner countries about these issues.
The civil sector will meet with diplomats accredited in Georgia. NGOs whose findings are trusted by the US Department of State and influential international organizations think that there are people in the country who are above the law and enjoy full immunity.
"It is especially important that representatives of business circles talk about similar problems if such problems have occurred and at the same time we will talk with our international partners," Eka Gigauri, executive director of Transparency International Georgia said.
The NGO sector declares mistrust and thinks that there is no political will in the country to investigate these cases.
"The only statement made by the government is that nothing is happening here and this process is not in touch with the current or former government officials, I think this is not enough," said GYLA Chairman Sulkhan Saladze.
