The draft law on cultivation and exports of marijuana has once again become the cause of confrontation between the Parliament and the Patriarchate.

Today the church warned the authorities once again that there is no argument to convince the clergy that thetr is a need to cultivate marijuana plantations. If the government does not change its mind on marijuana business, then the clergy will have a radical position - that is the position of the Patriarchate.

The decision on the postponement of the cannabis cultivation bill for 2 months was received by the ruling party at the bureau session yesterday. "Georgian Dream" does not hide that the work on the draft law will be complicated during the pre-election period. The 2-month pause will be used to consult with the Patriarchate and the opponents of the bill.
Opposition accuses "Dream" of deceiving voters.
