The deterioration of the media environment and the facts that prove that -the Georgian NGOs had an acute report on the situation in the country in the Marshall Foundation.

The challenges faced by Georgia have also been noted in the judicial system, elite corruption and nepotism at the highest level of government.

"Rustavi 2" case that is the European Human Rights Court, the broadcasters" concerns about the government"s attempts to change the owner and the editorial policy, the politicized regulatory and affiliated to the former Prime Minister persons who manage the public broadcaster- this is the list of problems, which from the point of view of the civil society ,pose a threat to the country"s one of the basic democratic institutions.

The list of problems includes the power in the hands of the constitutional majority. One of the main issues is judicial independence.

At the meeting with the American partners, the criticism of the Georgian Dream"s presidential candidate was also voiced, but the position of the Georgian ambassador in the United States was quite different from the civil sector. Davit Bakradze argued that the situation is not so difficult.
