Russia waged a war of conquest against Georgia - this statement was made by the President of Georgia during his speech at the Defense and Security Conference in Batumi. Giorgi Margvelashvili noted that Georgia should be considered in a single context with Ukraine.

In his speech, the president of the country has focused on the importance of the Security Council and stated that when the new constitution abolishes the Security Council, a new structure should be the which will replace it.

" A very important political structure suspends its work. We can not leave the country without such an important structure even for a day. I would like to call on my colleagues to keep their promise and replace the Council with a new structure,"- says Giorgi Margvelashvili
