Demonstrations were held in support of Zaza Saralidze, Malkhaz Machalikashvili and other parents of killed children in the big cities of Georgia demanding the defence of the right granted by the Constitution.

In Batumi and Kutaisi the representatives of civil society have organized a tent action in solidarity with the protesting fathers. They demand that the offenders be punished and defend the rights granted by the constitution.

"We are holding a symbolic rally to let the government hear our voice that Zaza Saralidze is not alone in this fight. The government will have to fulfill the demands of this person, "said Malkhaz Chkadua, the manager of the regional offices of Transparency International Georgia.

Demonstration was held in Kutaisi. Civil activists say they will be permanently assembled in support of Saralidze and Machalikashvili in the center of the city if the government restricts the right to express their protest.
