After completion of the expertise, the bodies of mother and child killed in the explosion in Zemo Ponichala were transferred to Chiatura late last night. The Tbilisi Mayor"s Office issued the compensation for the funeral expenses. As for the injured patients - three members of one family still remain in the center for burns. The situation is especially severe for the 44-year-old man and 24-year-old woman - about 60 percent of their bodies are burned. The condition of a 6-year-old girl is relatively lighter. One version, which is still considered as the cause of the incident, is the explosion that resulted due to accumulation of natural gas.
