The budget of the fifth president of Georgia is reduced by 4 million lari compared to the existing ones.President"s reserve fund is likely to be abolished altogether. In the initial version of the 2019 budget, the budget of the administration was determined by 10 million GEL and in the last edition it is decreased to 6 million.
The parliamentary majority thinks that this sum is absolutely enough for the new president to carry out its administrative activities.
"Resources allocated to the President are in full compliance with the financing of the activities implemented by the President"s Administration, and the draft law will be discussed in more detail," said Tamar Chugoshvili.
As for the abolishment of the president"s reserve fund, Chugoshvili says that this issue is in the competence of the government and the parliamentary budget committee.
