Eka Beselia continues consultations on selection criteria for candidates for judges. The former chairwoman of the Legal Issues Committee will meet representatives of legal firms and lawyers association.
According to the MP, the involvement of professionals in the process is important because the criteria for selection of candidates will be based on their recommendations that will rule out taking final decision as a result of the impact of specific individuals.
Beselia has already talked with representatives of international organizations and diplomatic corps on this issue.
"We will hold these consultations, aiming to listen to their opinions and to be more consistent and in line with these positions," says Beselia.
