Public trust in state institutions has decreased- the IRI survey.

According to the "International Republican Institute" (IRI), public trust in state institutions has decreased.

Most of IRI respondents trust the presidential institution- 51 percent that is 13 percent less compared to the previous data. The trust towards the parliament has decreased by 19 percent. The confidence in the Prosecutor"s Office has reduced as well. If according to the previous studies the investigative agency enjoyed 50 percent of the population trusted, according to the new data it has reduced to 36 percent of the public trust. The confidence in the police has reduced from 82 to 65 percent.

According to the IRI survey , the army enjoys the greatest confidence from the society - 87%.

Moreover, 55% of respondents think the country is going in the wrong direction, while 62 percent said that their economic situation has worsened in the last two months. Most of the community is unanimous with respect to foreign policy. 79 percent of the population supports the country"s membership in NATO, and 85 in the EU.
