Public Defender"s Office faces destruction

The employees of Public Defender`s Office fear to work at the building of the office because of cracks and emergency situation. 6 floors of 10 year-old building are damaged.

The National Forensic Bureau reported a year ago that the building is damaged and it is dangerous to work in the office.

On the basis of this report the Ombudsman asked the government to supply the Office with new building.

The Ministry of Economy has stated that they work on the demand. However, due to the fact that buildings they offer don`t meet the standards of Nanuashvili`s Office , the problem remains unsolved.
