A body of Irakli Kvaratskhelia, who died in uncertain circumstances in Russian military base was transported to Senaki.

An examination of Kvaratskhelia"s body continued all night long. Besides state experts, the process was controlled by representatives of the Center for Rehabilitation of Torture Victims.

According to one of the versions, Irakli Kvaratskhelia was taken to the Nabakevi military unit, where he was tortured with an electric shocker, during which he had a heart attack and died.

There is also a version that Kvaratskhelia"s internal organs were removed from the body and returned later.

Mariam Jishkariani, the director of the psychological rehabilitation centre of torture victims "Empathy", says that the deceased has injuries in the throat area. However, the centre "empathy" says that the reason for the deaths will be known after the expertise and the investigation.
